Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the call-ur-mom iOS app ("the app") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is operated by Call Ur Mom LLC ("we", "us").
The short version: the people you choose to call, your reminders, and your call history stay on your device. We use your account details to sign you in and basic analytics to understand how the app is used. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Information stored only on your device
- Contacts you select. With your permission, the app reads names and phone numbers from your contacts so you can choose who you want to call. Only the contacts you add are saved in the app, and they are stored on your device.
- Reminders and call history. Your reminder schedule, the calls and check-ins you log, and any notes you add are stored on your device.
- Notifications. Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
- Screen Time. The app uses Apple's Screen Time framework, with your permission, to limit access to apps you choose until you make your call. Apple gives the app only opaque tokens for the apps you select, so we cannot see which apps you use or your usage history. This information never leaves your device.
Deleting the app removes this on-device information.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account, we receive your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email that provider shares with us. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, which stores your account identifiers and, for email sign-in, a securely hashed password.
- App analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. It collects information such as an app instance identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, general location derived from your IP address, and events like app opens and session length. It does not receive your contacts, call history, or Screen Time data.
- Purchases. If you buy a subscription, payment is handled by Apple. We receive the status of your subscription but never your payment details.
How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Analytics) to operate the app. Google processes this information on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and the information associated with it, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
